Our Providers

Sommer attended Alvernia University in Reading, Pennsylvania where she graduated with her Bachelors of Science in Nursing. After graduation, she started as a graduate nurse at Penn State Golisano Children’s Hospital within the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, where she remained as an RN for just over 8 years. She attended Penn State University for her graduate degree, where she obtained her Doctorate of Nursing Practice as a Family Nurse Practitioner and is now a certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She is passionate about the pediatric population and wants to continue to provide anticipatory guidance and support to her patients/families. 

Sommer resides in Lancaster County with her husband, son, and dog. When she is not caring for her patients, you can find her chasing after her toddler and nieces, enjoying quality time with her family/friends, reading a good book, or baking some tasty treats
