Our Providers

Marissa Forney is a board-certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner with a strong background in pediatric nursing and a passion for caring for children and their families. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Scranton and her Master of Science in Nursing from Gwynedd Mercy University.

Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, Marissa worked at Lehigh Valley Reilly Children’s Hospital, where much of her nursing experience was spent caring for critically ill and medically complex children in intensive care settings, including the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). Her intensive care background taught her the importance of recognizing subtle changes in a child’s condition, communicating closely with families, and remaining a calm and reassuring presence during some of their most difficult moments. These experiences continue to shape the thoughtful and thorough approach she brings to primary care.

Marissa loves that primary care gives her the opportunity to care for children in a different way—watching them grow, celebrating their milestones, and developing long-term relationships with their families. She strives to create an environment where children feel comfortable and where parents feel heard, supported, and confident asking questions about their child’s health.

Outside of work, Marissa recently got married to her husband. She enjoys staying active through Pilates, strength training, and long walks. She also enjoys exploring new places and spending time outdoors.
